    Retired Master Sergeant William Henry Krieger, 91, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022, at Trenton Village in Trenton, IL.

    He was born October 4, 1930, to Alvin and Henirietta (nee Dickmann) Krieger in Breese, IL.

    Bill served his country for over 20 years in the United State Air Force.  After retirement he worked at many odd jobs.  He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post #117 in Caseyville, IL and a member of The Knights of Columbus in Collinsville, IL. Bill enjoyed the outdoors; he loved to work in his yard, fish, and camp with his friends. During Bill’s time at Trenton Village, he was known by residents and staff as “Wild Bill”.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Henirietta Krieger; first wife, Martha (nee Liittell); second wife, Loretta (nee Graham); brother, Lester Krieger; sister, Delores Schafer; Brother-in-law; Sister-in-laws.

    Bill is survived by care takers, Norbert and Mary Jane Peters; stepson, Glen Graham, family, and many nieces and nephews.

    Visitation: Thursday, June 9, 2022, from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m., at Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.

    Funeral Service: Thursday, June 9, 2022, 9:00 a.m., at Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.

    Interment: Thursday, June 9, 2022, 10:30 a.m., at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery, St. Louis, MO
