    William F. “Bill” Jones, 65, of Highland, IL, died Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at his residence with his family by his side.

    Bill was born January 18, 1953, to Francis and Kathleen (nee Keber) Jones in Roy, Utah. On October 2, 1999, he married Julie Craghead in St. Jacob, IL.

    Bill was a member of the Highland Gun Club, Desert Sportsmen Gun Club, Las Vegas, NV, and the Rampart Range, Pocahontas, IL. He was a tax analyst for the Internal Revenue Service for 28 years.

    He was an avid hunter and sports shooter using all kinds of guns, rifles, and pistols. He liked to reload ammunition.   He enjoyed spending time with Ellie, the wonder dog. He and his wife enjoyed traveling to the beach, mountains, and national parks.

    Bill is survived by his Wife, Julie Jones, Highland, IL; Mother, Kathleen “Kay” Jones Rebout, Kansas City, KS; Children, Jenna (fiancé, Greg Fields) Jones, Omaha, NE, Jon Jones, Omaha, NE, Matthew (Denise) Stout, Jessica (Randy) Take, Bethany (Allen) Stout Franklin; Grandchildren, Carter Franklin, Caitlyn Stout, Sawyer Stout, Sander Stout; Wonder Dog, Ellie; Brothers, Dick (Rachel) Jones, Don (Jackie) Jones, Dennis (Ann) Jones; Sisters, Rose (Don) French, Pat Moulton, Karen (Bruce) Blair, Kathy (Barry) Park; Many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by his Father, Francis Jones; Brother-in-Law, Kent Moulton.

    Memorials may be made to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, 5001 Angel Canyon Rd, Kanab UT 84741.

    A Celebration of Life for his family and friends will be held at a later date.
