Timothy P. “Tim” Gorman, 57, of Pocahontas, IL, died Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, in Highland, IL.

Tim was born December 20, 1961 to Robert and Marylea (nee Bensing) Gorman in St. Louis, MO.   On June 2, 1990, he married Mary Mann in St. Louis, MO.

Tim was a loving husband and father. Very charitable, he made sure everyone was taken care of.  He was very witty and had a wonderful sense of humor.  Much to the chagrin of his family, Tim thought he could sing too.  He enjoyed the banter of politics with his sons.  He loved cars; and being mechanically inclined, Tim enjoyed anything with a motor and was getting into farm equipment.  He loved classic movies, old westerns and enjoyed old Rock n Roll music. He was a little bit Country and a little bit Rock n Roll.  Most of all, Tim loved his family and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

Tim is survived by his wife of 28 years, Mary Gorman, Pocahontas, IL; father, Robert (Beverly) Gorman, Florissant, MO; sons, Timothy Gorman II and Robert Gorman, both of Pocahontas, IL; siblings, Kelly (Chris) Gill, Suffolk, VA, Michael Gorman, Calverton Park, MO, Jennifer Gorman, Columbia, MO;  fur baby, Molly; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marylea Gorman; father-in-law, Alvin Mann; mother-in-law, Bernice Mann.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

I will miss the laughter that made everyone else laugh with him. I am forever grateful for the love and care Tim gave to my sister and their sons.

Growing up your little sister was pretty interesting. You laughed when you got whoopped by dad, you could spend all weekend making different gun noises when playing soldiers, ( I never knew there were so many Lol), shopping for clothes that color coordinated with your hair!! Yes you made life definitely very interesting! Love and miss you Tim!

Our prayers are with Tim’s family. When we had our family get-togethers; he was always the witty one. So much like his Mom and Dad. When I babysat for them in WA state, he was just the cutest and best baby then!

. Tim was a loving and caring man! His family was everything to him. He loved Mary, Tim and Robert with all his heart. He loved to talk politics and cars when the Gorman’s would come for a visit that is what Tim, the boys, Wayne ( Mary’s brother) and anyone else who wanted to put their 2 cents in! We would have such a good time! We will miss you, Tim! Prayers and love to Mary and the boys!!
