    William Edward “Bill” Mason, 69, of Albion, IL passed away Thursday May 11th, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born September 7th, 1953 in Chippewa Falls, WI to Howard and Mary (Robinson) Mason. He married Judy Garman on April 1st, 1972, at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Samsville, IL.

    Bill worked in the oil field for many years and for North American Lighting. He liked to fish, garden and watch the grandchildren. He loved his family very much and his grandchildren were extra special to him. He loved his dog, Molly.

    Bill is survived by his loving wife Judy, and they were married for 51 years and 40 days, children; Jonathon Mason, Jaime (Gary) Miller, Jenni (Bart) McKee, sisters; Patsy (Dick) Kuykendall, Sue (Art) Saumier, Janice (Gene) Brock, brother; Gary Mason, Terry Mason, grandchildren: Logan, Alivia, Connor, and Ashlie

    He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Mary Mason and one grandchild.

    Memorials may be made to West Salem Zion Church and Residential Hospice

    Visitation: 9:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m., Saturday May 20th, 2023, Ingram Meridith Funeral Home, Albion, IL.  It was Bill’s request that those attending dress casual.

    Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 20th, 2023, Ingram Meridith Funeral Home, Albion, IL.

    Interment: Graceland Cemetery, Albion, IL.

    Wow, Bill and I were friends in High School. We did a lot of crazy things together. I have thought many tims the past few years I should look hi up and say hi. Opportunities lost I guess.Cherish your memories.
