WILLIAM ‘BERT’ RODGERS, 80, of Mount Erie, Illinois passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 at his residence.
Bert was born February 26, 1938 at Lambert, Mississippi to James and Nona (Caples) Rodgers.
Bert had worked as a laborer for TNT Hunting.
Bert is survived by one daughter, Wanda Hill and one son, William B. (W.B.) Rodgers Jr. and a grandson, Christopher Hill. Three Aunts, four cousins, Martha, Shirley, Tommy, and Nolan. He is also survived by a good friend, Jay Camp and several close friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, September 10, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home in Cisne, Illinois.

Go find Lil Bit and my dad and go shoot some birds together. Heidi and Sam will be waiting for you. I know they would love to go walk some fence rows looking for birds. Rest In Peace my friend.
