Wayne L. Gemar, 87, of Highland, IL, died Monday, May 14, 2018, at his residence.
Wayne was born July 14, 1930, to Theodore and Kathryn (nee Josch) Gemar in Lodi, CA. On February 14, 1988, he married Patsey Leewright in Minden, Nevada.
Wayne served in the US Navy during the Korean conflict, on the USS Norton South, as an electrician. He worked for Georgia Pacific Corporation as a truck driver until retiring in 1992.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Patsey Leewright-Gemar, Highland, IL; daughter, Roxanna Ray, Woodland, CA; stepson, Eric (Eleanor Flores) DePew, Highland, IL; stepdaughters, Ravonda McGualey, Marshfield, MO, Ramona Foster, Roberta Bayne, Rebecca Johnson and Susan Garza all of CA; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Kathryn Gemar; first wife,
Viola Neff-Foster; step-son, Robert Foster.Funeral: No services will be held at this time.
