at the Macedonia Cemetery.

Wanda L. Lassen, nee Waites, 98 of Maryville, IL, formerly of Collinsville, born on December 12, 1922 in Ellsinore Missouri, passed away on December 29th, 2020.

Wanda was a homemaker, and worked at Brooks Bottling Company for a time. She was an amazing cook who was devoted to her family. Her unwavering faith in the Lord was a daily presence in her life, and was something she shared with those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Myrtle and James Waites; husband: Ralph S. Lassen, whom she married on September 2, 1937; son: Delmer Lassen; brother: Charles Waites; sister: Bernice Chronister; and grandson: James Althardt.

Surviving are her son and daughters: Ralph (Helen) Lassen, Patricia (Albert) Althardt, Nancy (Richard) Althardt, LaVern Oatman, and Connie Fischer; grandchildren: Bonnie Dillard, Cathy Althardt, Robert Althardt, Cheryl Althardt, Richard Althardt, Brian Althardt, Sharon Fechte, Debbie Lassen, Christopher Oatman, Melissa Oatman, Mary Lowe, Rebecca Burgener, and Kelly Laws; great-grandchildren: Amanda, Brandon, Tyler, Christopher, Allison, David, Virginia, Lily L., Logan, Braden, Jaden, Reagan, Macie, Brenton, Emilee, Lily M. and Paul; great-great grandchildren: Mason and Easton. She is also survived by a sister, Vernette Longbottom and various nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
