Virginia L. Keller, 88, of Alhambra, IL, died Sunday, May 3, 2015, at Alhambra Care Center.
Virginia was born April 19, 1927, to Harry and Mabel (nee Schaefer) Keller in Lebanon, IL.
She lived many years in Danville, IL, working as an LPN in nursing homes. Later, she moved back to Pocahontas and worked as a Teacher’s Aid at the Pocahontas Grade School. She enjoyed crocheting and babysitting her grandchildren.
She is survived by 4 Daughters, Priscilla Plocher, Highland, IL, Rosemary (Neal) Reike, Jr., Highland, IL, Linda Lindsey, Odin, IL, Virginia (Richard) Heinz, Highland, IL; 1 Son, Robert (Donna) Cuthrell, Martinsville, IL; 17 Grandchildren, Eva (Rodney) Suhre, Dennis (Donna) Plocher, Virginia (Jim) Strawn, Angela Rieke, Crystal (Jerry) McCray, Elizabeth Price, Neal (Gina) Rieke III, Kelly Kuhn, Dennis (Janice) Kuhn, Stephanie (Lawrence) Rodgers, Robert (Casey) Cuthrell, Amanda (Aaron) Goodrum, Nicholas Cuthrell, Christopher Moss, Corey Herrod, Kelsey Neier, Matthew Neier; Many great grandchildren; 2 Great, great grandchildren; 1 Sister, Florence (Charles) Baer, Marine, IL; 1 Niece, Janet Huene.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Mabel Keller; former husbands, Leroy Buehler, Loren Cuthrell, Robert Crouch; niece, Florencie King; sister, Ruth Keller in infancy.
Memorials may be made to the Pocahontas-Old Ripley Fire Dept or Alzheimer’s Foundation.
Visitation: Friday, May 8, 2015, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Meridith Funeral Home, Highland, IL.
