Violet R. Strubhart (nee Peters), 90, of Lebanon, IL, died Monday, December 2, 2013, at her residence.
Violet was born July 12, 1923, to Theodore and Mary (nee Perschbacher) Peters, in Summerfield, IL. On January 18, 1950, she married Matthew “Pete” Strubhart in Lebanon, IL.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Lebanon, IL. She was very proud of her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with family.
She is survived by her 2 children, Ken (Jane) Strubhart, Lebanon, IL, and Mary Lou (John) Seely, Lebanon, IL; 5 Grandchildren, Lauren Lohman, Heather (Nate) Rudy, John (Jennifer) Seely, Parker Seely, Matthew (Nicole) Seely; 1 Great Grandchild, Aly Seely; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Mary Peters; her husband, Matthew “Pete” Strubhart; 2 Brothers, Laverne Peters, Arnold Peters, 1 Sister, Pearl Orschell.
Memorials may be made to the Lebanon Education Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
