      Vera Faye Simmons, age 79 of Mt. Carmel, IL passed from this life to the next on July 6, 2020 at Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel.  Faye was born in Mt. Carmel on February 23, 1941 to Kenneth and Carol (Reed) Daniels.

      Faye is survived by one son, Terry Simmons of Mt. Carmel.

      No formal services are planned.
