      After a courageous 26-month battle with pancreatic cancer, Una Dean (nee Wolford) Johnson, 80, of Lebanon, IL, is with her Savior and Lord.  The gates of Heaven opened wide to receive her April 17, 2017.  She departed this life surrounded by family who loved her.

      Una was born December 27, 1936, in Williamson, WV, the daughter of Wilber and Ella (nee Saunders) Wolford.  She graduated from Williamson High School in 1955 and worked as a Civil Service employee of the United States until her retirement in 1998.

      She was one of the kindest, sweetest people who has ever lived and enriched the lives of everyone who knew her.  She will be missed.

      She is survived by her loving Husband of 61 years, Rether Johnson; son, Rether Johnson Jr., of Lebanon, IL; daughter, Thresa (Jim) Eades of McKinney, TX; sister, Sarah Horne of Lebanon, IL; brother, Walker (Judy) Wolford of Colorado Springs, CO;  grandchildren, Jacinda (Beth) Wilson, Jasmine (Nikki) and Cesar Ricardez, Kevin Johnson, Christopher and Christine Larcom, Matthew Larcom, Katie and Daniel Bailey, James (Ben) Eades III and Andrew Coronado; great-grandchildren, Layla Ricardez, Isabelle Bassett and Cecilia Griffin, Thresa (Annie), Elizabeth, Madelyn, and Lillian Larcom, Felicity, Moriah, and Ephraim Bailey.

      Preceding her in death were a Brother-in-Law, Ronnie Horne, and a Sister-in-Law, Joyce Davis.

      A celebration of her life will be held at the Masonic hall at 219 W. St. Louis St., Lebanon, IL, May 13, 2017, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.
