Trent Rae Tuttle, 41, of Belleville, IL, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024, in Belleville, IL.

He was born September 29, 1982, in Greenville, OH, to Mark Tuttle and Judith (nee Henry) Yates.

Trent was a vibrant and artistic soul whose passion for creativity touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. He found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in his love for coloring and crafting. Whether offering a helping hand or a kind word, Trent had a way of brightening even the darkest days.

Trent's greatest source of happiness was his children, whom he adored beyond measure. They have fond memories of going on bike rides, walks, and shooting BB guns by the railroad tracks with him. Trent's ability to create a sense of belonging made him not only a beloved father but also a cherished friend and family member. He was a treasured father, son, brother, uncle, and friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

I only knew Trent for a few months, but in that time I saw what a kind and decent person he was. He spoke of his immense love for his mother and helped a close friend of mine who was going through a rough time, providing daily moral support. In my living room sits a beautiful candelabra nearly as tall as I am, a cherished gift from Trent. He will be missed.

So sad and i send prayers and condolences to his family. Ive known Trent for almost ten years, he knew how to make everyone smile when they were down and even if you were mad at him he would always try to make it up for whatever it was you were mad about and he made it where you couldn’t stay mad at him for long. I watched him grow as a father and as a person and he loved Star and Ion so much and always talked of them. He was always there for me when i needed a friend to talk to or shoulder to cry on or someone to laugh with. He was a one of a kind person and will be so very missed. I am thankful i got to meet him and his family and he helped me grow as a mother and person as well.
