Thomas E. “Ted” Mauck, 69, of Trenton, IL, died Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at St. Joseph Hospital, Highland, IL.
Ted was born June 22, 1945 to Arnold and Virginia (Nee Lee) Mauck, in E. St. Louis, IL. On July 2, 1988, he married Pamela Krause in Trenton, IL.
He was drafted into the U S Army in 1968. He went to Vietnam in 1969 and was wounded in combat and awarded Purple Heart. After 14 months of hospitalization and therapy he was able to come home.
He was a member of Lebanon Singers, 25th Infantry Division Association. Ted graduated from McKendree College, now McKendree University, in 1973. He loved the farm, his family and really enjoyed his time with his friends.
Ted is survived by his wife, Pamela Mauck, Trenton, IL; son, Todd (Kelly) Mauck, Trenton, IL; step-granddaughter, Kayla; sister, Sandy (Norman) Schoek, St. Jacob, IL; sister-in-law, Catherine Mauck; brother-in-law, Bill Reiss; several nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Virginia Mauck; brother, Ronald Mauck; sister, Dixie Reiss; cousin, Diane Fribbs.
Memorials may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society and American Diabetes Association.
