Judge Valentine presided over two of my cases. One was settled with his help, and the other was decided by him after a Bench trial. Judge Valentine was intelligent, fair and just. He was an excellent Judge. We both enjoyed sharing our high school wrestling careers at Carl Sandburg High School. Such a devastating loss.

I had the honor to train Mike for some races in 2023 and 2024. He accomplished a his big goal of running a 50 mile ultramarathon in October 2023. We ran 3 races together. He was not only a client, but became a good friend. He was scheduled to start training with me again in January. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to his children and family.
