Teddy “Ted" Lee Dowdy, age 57 of Princeton, IN, passed away last week at his home.  He was born in Aurora, IL on March 1, 1964, to Bill Dowdy and Barbara Rushing Dowdy.

Ted graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in 1983.  He was a factory worker and painter.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his nieces and nephews.

Surviving relatives include:  Mother Barbara Rushing Dowdy of Albion, Father Bill Dowdy of Mt. Carmel, Grandmother Virginia (Bob) Swatsley of Mt. Carmel, Sister Sonya Smith of West Salem, Sister Tonya (Time) Prosise of Salem, Brother Tom Dowdy of Grayville, Brother Mike (Lora) Dowdy of Clarksville, TN, Sister Pat (Johnny) Compton of Albion, Brother Chris (Tammy) Dowdy of Mt. Carmel, 10 nieces and nephews, and 26 great-nieces and nephews.

Ted was preceded in death by:  Partner Mark Chaffin, Grandparents Hubert and Mary Rushing, Grandfather Freeland Dowdy, and Nephew Dakota Ellis.
