This still doesn’t seem real. I keep waiting for Lorna to tell me this didn’t really happen. I loved our speaker phone calls on the way home from Edwardsville. I could never, ever one up you!!! I loved how you loved Lorna and the kids and your help with the ukulele and that old clarinet. I shall toast you every time I eat tacos. Xoxoxo

He was one of the funniest and most stand up guys I knew. He was always around when I was growing up taking lessons at Mojo’s. I thought he was so cool and funny back then too. I’m really missing him right now. I’m sending all my love and deepest condolences to all of you now.

  6. Michelle Flaugher (Timmons) / February 25, 2021 at 10:21 am

My heart and soul still can’t process this. You are a shining star, and had so much to offer this world still. So funny and creative! (I remember I said the word “grody” at Sharky’s once, and you asked me how old I was…🤣) You had a huge impact on my life even to this day, and I am honored to be able to call you my friend. Keep a watch over over us all, as I know you are. I pray for strength for Lorna and the family…until we met again…

  7. Danie & Steve POWERS COURT / February 26, 2021 at 2:01 pm

    Viking Prayer:

“Lo, there do I see my Father..

Lo, there do I see my Mother

And my Sisters and my Brothers..

Lo, there do I see the line

Of my people back to the beginning..

They do bid me to take my place among them..

    In the Halls of Valhalla,

Where the Brave may live forever.”

Please accept our deepest sympathies, may happy memories bring a measure of comfort and peace in this very difficult time.

    Dear Lorna and family,
I was saddened to hear of Turk’s passing. I know this is a monumental loss for you and all of the family. Turk was a special person, full of wit and wisdom beyond his years, honest to a fault, and filled with enthusiasm for things he held dear. He will be missed. Sincerest condolences to you all.
