      Steven E. Wood, 50, of Bone Gap, IL. Died Monday August 23, 2021, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN

      He was born July 17, 1971, to Edward and Sharon (Cincoski) Wood, in Knox IN on July 17, 1971.

      Steven had a big love of basketball, he played in High school.  After High School he was the team manager for Wabash Valley College during the time the college won their National Championships. Steven had a passion for wrestling and enjoyed helping to setup the ring for local wrestling matches.  He loved his grandchildren very much.  He was a very hard worker, most days he would work sun up to sun down.

      Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Sharon Cincoski Wood, sister Roberta Wood in infancy.

      He is survived by his children, Scott (Cassandra) Wood, Bone Gap, IL, Aaron (Dasha) Wood, Mt. Vernon, IL, Marcus Wood, St Louis MO, Christopher (Rae) Wood, Bone Gap, IL; grandchildren, Elizabeth Lagle, Anthony Wood, William Lagle, Jaxen Wood, Leah Lagle, Austin Wood, Mason Lagle, Tyson Wood, Luna Wood, Asher Wood, Xavier Wood, Zekiel Wood, Lillian Toliver, Madalyn Tolliver, Blairlyn Tolliver, Warren Tolliver; sister Sheila Shields, Mt Carmel, IL; brother Eddie (Lisa) Wood, Marion, IN several Aunts and uncles, and nieces and nephews.

      A celebration of life to be decided.
