Sheryl Johnson, 64, of Highland, IL, passed away, Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, IL.
Sheryl was born April 13, 1957, to Lowell and Ruby (nee Kurfman) Uhland, in Quincy, IL. On May 13, 1985, she married Gregg Johnson in Johnson City, IN.
Sheryl was a self-employed seamstress and gardener, two things close to her heart. She was also a member of the Highland Garden Club. She enjoyed mushroom hunting and loved to travel, especially fond of the ocean. She was intense, and funny, loved her cats, and always enjoyed time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lowell and Ruby Uhland.
She is survived by her husband, Gregg Johnson, Highland, IL; children, Gerald “Lee" Mahr, Jeremiah Mahr, and Jon Mahr; grandchildren, Jeremiah Mahr, Marissa Mahr; great grandchildren, two; siblings, Carl (Angie) Uhland, Mark (Kristy Cecil) Uhland, and Missy (Rob) Bauman.
Memorials may be made to the Donor’s choice.
