      Shella R. Dilley, 60, of Albion, IL died Friday, May 14, 2021, at Wabash General Hospital, Mt. Carmel, IL.

      She was born September 17, 1960, to Lee and Bonnie (Nee Lykins) Johnson, in Lawrenceburg, IN.  On June 19, 1982 she married Johnny D. Dilley in Olney, IL.

      Shella was a member of Parkersburg Christian Church.  She was a Christian woman and loved her family; she was a very devoted wife.  She loved her animals and spoiled her grandchildren every chance she had. She loved to sing.  “If you want to see me again, get right with God”, Shella.

      She was preceded in death by her father, Lee Johnson; maternal grandparents, Carl Lykins, Sr., James Baxter and Marian Lykins; stepfather, Larry Collier.

      She is survived by husband of 38 years, Johnny D. Dilley; children, Jama (Fred) Dilley Dallmier, Princeton, IN, Donovan (Ashton) Dilley, Noble, IL, Bradley Dilley, Albion, IL; granddaughters, Rena France, Sahara (Conner) Allen, Jonra Dallmier, Destini Dallmier, Charity Dilley, Wynstin Rosskilley; grandsons, Brexley Dilley, Raleigh Middleton; mother, Bonnie Lykins Johnson Collier; brothers, Vernon (Stephanie) Johnson, Sr., Jamie Lee (Crystal Pratt) Johnson; several nieces and nephews.

      Memorials may be made to the family.

      Celebration of Life Service: Tuesday May 18, 2021 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm Parkersburg Christian Church, Parkersburg, IL

      Ingram Meridith Funeral Home, Albion, IL.

      I can just see her walking in Heaven. Walking with Jesus. And having a big reunion with her family and friends.
      I am not sad because now she has no pain and has a perfect body.
      But I am sad for those of us left behind. We will miss her so much because ” we love her the most. “

      John, Jama, Donovan, and Bradley ! The pain of losing a parent is like no other pain! I am sorry to hear of Shella’s passing. She and I have had some good talks and I was proud to have known her! My prayers are for peace and comfort for the family who have to go on without her. She will be missed, but I believe she is singing praises to Jesus right now !!! (((HUGS))) to you all !!!
