    Sandra Jean Lord, 70, of Collinsville, IL, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022, peacefully at her home.

    She was born September 19, 1951, to Bert L. Sr. and Dorothy Jane (nee Caldwell) Chapman in East St. Louis, IL.

    Sandra was a lifelong resident of Collinsville, IL. She valued her family more than anything and loved to spend time with her extended family, including the Hollen family, Mason family, White family, Turner family; and her cousins in the Benett and Mahurin family. In her free time, she truly loved shopping on The Home Shopping Network. Sandra was a kind and loving soul and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

    She is preceded in death by her parents, Bert Sr. and Dorothy Chapman; son, Kristen Lord; brother, Bert L. Chapman Jr.

    Sandra is survived by her brother, Russell Chapman, many cousins, and loving friends.

    Visitation: Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.

    Service: Thursday, June 30, 2022, 11:00 am, Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.

    Clergy: Rev. Dan Mahurin

    Interment: St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, IL

    Luncheon: Thursday, June 30, 2022, 3:00 pm at Knights of Columbus, 4225 Old Alton Road, Granite City, IL, 62040
