Ruth E. Foehner, nee Wagner, 76, of Millersburg, IL died July 12, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Highland, IL on January 2, 1932 to Reinhart J. and Mathilda (Hoffman) Wagner, both deceased. On May 6, 1950, she married Delmar "Jack" Foehner in Pocahontas, Arkansas and he survives.
Also survived by: three sons and three daughters: Jack Foehner, Millersburg, IL; Barbara Ernst, Keene, Texas; Peggy Ulmer - Millersburg, IL; Gary (Lisa) Foehner, Highland, IL; Christine (Tim) Herbst, Greenville, IL; Jeff (Jeri) Foehner - Highland, IL; 11 Grandchildren: Jennifer Wells, Anna Watson, Mandy Ballenger,
Julie Ulmer, Ellie & Whitley Foehner, Christopher Harris, Jenee & Maria Foehner; Briana & Kayla Martin; 7 Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters - Lela Wagner, Highland, IL; Bernice "Bonnie" Schnoor - Costa Mesa, Calif; Several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by: 1 Grandson - Jason Foehner; 1 Son-in-Law - Vallee Ulmer; 2 sisters - Marie Wagner; Betty Jane Jakel; 2 Brothers: Burnell Wagner & Robert Wagner; one Nephew - Dennis Robert Jakel.
Ruth was a homemaker and had worked at the Garment Factory and shoe Factory in Highland, IL. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, and was an avid Chicago Cubs Fan.
VISITATION: Tuesday, July 15, 2008, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Meridith Funeral Home, and Wednesday, July 16, 2008 from 8:00 - 11:00 a.m.
FUNERAL: Wednesday, July 16, 2008 @ 11:00 a.m. at the Meridith Funeral Home, Highland, IL with Rev. Leonard Pye Officiating.
BURIAL: Jamestown Cemetery, Jamestown, IL
