What a privilege it was to have Ruby for my mother-in-law for 59 yrs. We had a great, loving relationship that I never took for granted. Many people never experience that & I am forever grateful.I will/do miss her very much but have the promise of knowing we will be together again one day.

Fond memories as a child growing up and spending a lot of my summers with my grandparents Stanley and Eunice Sharar.(yes my parents Billy and Janice Sharar needed a break from me!) It was pretty much a daily thing going to Ruby and Johnie’s place to fish. Catfishing was boring back then to me as keeping me still and quiet just didnt happen. But pole fishing during spawning season fit my personality! I was fortunate to visit her last July with my brother Brett and cousin Tony. It was amazing to see her out pruning roses when we pulled up. I was thrilled she remembered me and really enjoyed getting some more time with her. Definitely an end of an era as Ruby and her sisters Opal and Eunice squeezed the most out of wonderful lives. I am sure Johnie was glad to reunite in the Kingdom of God. Rest in peace Ruby and thank you for the wonderful memories.

What an Awesome lady! I’ve had the privilege of doing her taxes for several years. I enjoyed hearing her stories of years gone by, the family reunions at the lake, and her crafting projects. I hope I can be like her and grow older gracefully. She always looked great and kept a good attitude. I’ll miss her.

    To the Milner family:
So sorry for the loss of my Great Aunt Ruby. It was such a privilege to have known her, such a sweet, kind and loving lady. I have nothing but good memories of going to visit her at her farm and seeing her at my grandma Eunice’s house at family gatherings. I just loved her beautiful quilts and flowers that she grew in her garden.
She certainly was the matriarch of the family and I will never forget her sweet mannerisms. May the Lord comfort your family both now, and in the years to come…gone, but never forgotten.
