Rosemary Scarbrough, 96 of Browns, Illinois passed on July 13, 2024 at Oakview Heights in Mt. Carmel, Illinois.

She was born on February 17, 1928, in Albion, Illinois, to Samuel and Margaret (Judge) Gines. She married Warren Scarbrough in Reno, Nevada in November of 1948. They enjoyed over 44 years of marriage until Warren passed in 1993.

Rosemary was a member of the Olive Christian Church south of Albion; and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed ceramics and taught ceramics to others. She also enjoyed bowling and decorating.

Rosemary is survived by a daughter, Devonna Scarbrough; a grandson, Chris (Nique) Scarbrough; and two great granddaughters, Hadley and Presley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Scarbrough; a stepson John Scarbrough; a brother, 2 half-sisters, and a half-brother.

Visitation for Rosemary Scarbrough will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Ingram-Meridith Funeral Home in Albion, Illinois; followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery in Albion, Illinois.

Memorials in the name of Rosemary Scarbrough can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Bellmont United Methodist Church, Bellmont, Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
