    Robert Henry Harbison, 85, of Princeton, IN, passed from this life to the next on August 9, 2019 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton.

    He was born December 18, 1933 in Princeton, the son of Martha (Stillwell) and Murle Harbison. He married Reba Jewel Bartley on March 29, 1957 in the Methodist Church in Francisco, IN. she preceded him in death on August 10, 2016.

    Robert was a Korean War Veteran having served in the Army and in May of 2017, he participated in the Honor Flight, sponsored by Snap-On Tool. He was a toolmaker at Snap-On Tools for 42 years. He was a member of the Bellmont Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge in Mt. Carmel, where he was recently honored with his 50-year pin. Robert was also a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Union. He enjoyed camping and loved building. In fact, he built two of their homes.

    He is survived by two daughters: Lou Anna (Kim) Racster of Mt. Carmel, IL and Cindy (Randy) Hedrick of Mt. Erie, IL; three sisters: Jackie Harbison, Judy Bates, and Janet (Darrell) Resler, all of Evansville, IN; four grandchildren: Wesley (Sarah) Hedrick, Whitney (Nick) Wheeler, Shania Hedrick, and Logan (Chelsea) Racster; and six great-grandchildren: Emma Hedrick, Ellie Hedrick, Sawyer Hedrick, Kyra Wheeler, Hazel Wheeler, Roland Racster and one on the way.
    He is also survived by several nieces , nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

    Robert was preceded in death by his wife Reba and his parents.
    Visitation will be held from 4 PM to 8PM on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at the Ingram-Meridith Funeral Home in Albion, IL with a Masonic Service at 7:30PM.
    Funeral Service will be held at 10AM on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Lick Prairie Cemetery with Military Rites.

    Memorials may be made to the Bellmont Methodist Church. And envelopes will be available at the service.

    My deepest sympathy to you. I know your dad wanted so much to be able to come back to Heritage Plaza. We have missed him so much. I am so glad that Linda P. and I sent him the candy and soda when he felt so lonely. I as sure he is getting your mom caught up on all that has happened since her passing.
