Robert C. Meyer, 71, of Trenton, IL, died Sunday, November 23, 2014, at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, MO.
Robert was born on November 26, 1942, to Clifford and Cora (nee Bergheger) Meyer, in Mascoutah, IL. On June 6, 1981, he married Tedra Tate at St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fairview Heights, IL.
He was a member of Local 670 in O’Fallon, IL, for 50 years. He enjoyed rehabbing old cars with his son. He also enjoyed traveling and seeing the ocean.
He is survived by his wife, Tedra Meyer, Trenton, IL; 1 son, Doug (Patricia) Meyer, Trenton, IL; 1 granddaughter, Meagan; 1 sister, Judy (James) Korte, New Baden, IL; 1 brother, Steven Meyer, Trenton, IL; 1 aunt, Ella Loyet, Highland, IL; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Cora Meyer, and 1 brother, Paul Meyer.
Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
