Chris, we are so sorry for your loss. You know that I consider you my family. We share grandkids and you gave me a part in raisng Tyler. He is more like a son to me. You and Bob helped Brandi in ways I couldn’t. I don’t know what would have happened if you guys had not been there for us. You let your other grandkids call me Grandma Tammy. That is why Brandi’s daycare kids call me that. We have shared lots of emotional times together. We have spent hours together at ballgames. The kids will miss their dad and grandpa so much. If you or any of your family need anything don’t hesitate to call me. I love you like a sister Chris.

Chris and family. Bob became one of the best friends in the auction field several years ago as we met in district #9 of the ISAA. We met in Olney, Illinois most of the time. He invited me to come down and help him with one of his consignment auctions held at the old school building. He had farm machinery house hold items, automobiles, antiques, and baseball cards. He put me inside selling baseball cards. I said Bob “I have never sold a baseball card collection before.” He said as I recall “Neither have I, you’ll do fine.” Again as I recall we had only a few bidders, but Bob had done a good job advertising, and the right buyers were there and we had a great base ball card auction. I have always felt indebted to Bob for his friendship and training. I am 86 now and really out of the loop as far as the auction business. I just know that Bob gave it his best shot and with the client always in mind as the one he was working for. The best to you and your family. Be Blessed.

  26. Dennis Johnson / February 6, 2022 at 2:11 pm

    Chris
    :
We are so sorry that you lost Bobbie, as we knew him. He was special to my parents, Clifford and Vonna Johnson, as you well know. Your and Bob’s children were like grandchildren to my parents – Even going to Florida to stay and visit with them, when the children were young. In the early years mother was the Clerk for Bob’s Auctions and dad was a call/bid catcher. He meant so very much to them, as did you and the kids..
I want to Thank You for all that your friendship meant to them. When you all bought our home place property and built your home there, that was just a tie that made that relationship all the more tight.

    Yours in Love and Prayer,
    Dennis and Janet Johnson
    Blairsville, Georgia
