In loving memory of Richard Bruce Walla, known to many as "Bang Bang." He is survived by his former partner and friend Kathy. He was a beloved father to Brian (Roxanne) and Lindsey (Dustin) and a cherished grandfather to Lindsay, Blake, Gavin, and Demi.
Richard Bruce Walla, who passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 69, was a dedicated steel worker for many years. He found joy in fishing, taking his grandkids to the park, and sharing moments of silliness with them, always bringing laughter and happiness into their lives.
He had a green thumb and took great pride in his pumpkin farm and gardening. Richard was a devoted Chicago Blackhawks fan. He loved and cared for the local cats and found joy in their company.
Richard’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be dearly missed but fondly remembered for his love, laughter, and the special moments he shared with family.
