Randolph E. “Randy” Robinson, 67, of Pocahontas, IL, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at Greenville Regional Hospital, Greenville, IL, after a long battle with cancer.
Randy was born August 31, 1948, to Raymond and Violet (Nee Abell) Robinson in E. St. Louis, IL. On November 16, 2006 he married Carolyn Hinze at Southern Baptist Church, Highland, IL.
He was a member of Local 110, St. Louis, MO. He enjoyed watching westerns on tv. Randy loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and he loved spending time with his wife. He liked to go fishing and bar-b-que.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Violet Robinson; brothers, Michael Robinson and Donald Ray Robinson; nephew, Ryan Killberry; granddaughter, Brittany Robinson.
Randy is survived by his wife, Carolyn Robinson, Pocahontas, IL; children, Warren
Robinson, Patsy Hill, Judy (Davey) Thompson, Lisa (Ryan) Anderson; step-children, Carol (Roger) Weiss, Billie Singleton; grandchildren, Krista Hill, Justin Hill, Joshua Hill, Shanna Hill, Heather Thompson, Amber Thompson, Rysin Anderson, Saryn Rachel Anderson; step-grandchildren, Abby Jo Weiss, Miranda Weiss, Maggie Weiss, Josie Singleton, Luke Hofmann; 13 great-grandchildren; brother and sisters, Ardie (Bill) Foster, Kevin (Jolynn) Robinson, Cindy Killberry; several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Bond County Hospice.
