    Quentin Roosevelt, 96, of Albion, passed away at 8:29 A.M., Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at the Wabash Christian Village in Carmi, IL.

    Quentin had been a lifelong Edwards County farmer.  He was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Albion.  Quentin had been a member of the Edwards County Farm Bureau, where he had served as Past President.

    He was born November 4, 1922 at Edwards County, IL, the son of Edgar and Edna (Maxwell) Roosevelt.

    He married Ruby Chalcraft on October 6, 1946 at Ellery, IL and she preceded him in death on October 6, 2017.

    He is survived by two sons- Russell Roosevelt and wife Suzanne and Bryan Roosevelt and wife Stacey, both of Albion, three daughters- Linda Searby and husband David of Du Quoin, Carol Sample and husband Ronnie of Ellery and Kim Gibson of Newburg, IN, one sister - Norma Bunting of Albion, thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

    Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church at Albion with Pastor Tom Hanzel officiating.

    Friends may call from 4 to 7 P.M. Friday, January 11, 2019 at the Ingram-Meridith Funeral Home in Albion and from 9 A.M. until service time at the church on Saturday.

    Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Albion.

    Friends may make memorials to the Mt. Zion Methodist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
