Pearl Salmons, 85, of Pocahontas, IL, died Friday, March 9, 2012, at St. Johns Hospital, Springfield, IL.
Pearl was born July 18, 1926, to William and Alice (nee Daugherty) Arbogast, in Duquoin, IL. On April 17, 1945 she married Charles Salmons, Sr.
She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary, Collinsville, IL. She was a member and past President of Lady Eagles, Collinsville, IL. She was very committed to her grandchildren.
She is survived by 5 children, Wanda Crockett, Glen Salmons, Marilyn (Jerry Spoon) Salmons, Charles Salmons, Jr., Jerry Salmons; 1 daughter-in-law, Sandy Blankenship; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Agnes Kimbro, Margaret (Jim) Doolin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Alice Arbogast; her husband, Charles Salmons, Sr.; 1 son, Kenny Salmons; 2 sisters; 2 brothers.
Memorials may be made to the Pearl Salmons Memorial Fund.
