Patsy Elaine Smith Adam, 64, of Gloster, Mississippi, died Saturday, December 10, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Patsy was born November 18, 1952, to Robert and Mary (nee Wilkinson) Smith in Field Memorial Community Hospital, Centreville, MS

She was a member of the Plymouth Primitive Baptist Church in Liberty, MS. She was kind, giving, and devoted to her church. She mentored a lot of people including the students entering the medical technology field.

Patsy was a good Mom and Grandma, and made a lot of sacrifices for her children. She liked to cook, cross-stitch, and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her Mother, Elaine Smith, Gloster, MS; Children, Michael J. (Tammie) Adam, Starkville, MS, and Robert K. (Elizabeth) Adam, Highland, IL; Grandchildren, Lily, Jeremiah, Susannah, Ruth, Joanna; Sister, Judy Matte, Gloster, MS; Brother, Bobby Smith, Gloster, MS; Nieces and Nephews & Great Nieces and Nephews

She was preceded in death by her Father, Robert Harold Smith.

Memorials may be made to the Patsy Adam Memorial Scholarship for Medical Students in Mississippi.

Services will be held in Gloster, MS.
