Patsy A. “’Pat” Barr, 83, of Edwardsville, IL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, with her family by her side, at Hitz Memorial Home in Alhambra, IL.

She was born on May 18, 1941, in St. Louis, MO, to Edmund “Ed” and Vera (nee Meyer) Barton. On June 11, 1960, she married the love of her life, Glenn W. Barr, in St. Louis, MO.

Pat and Glenn moved to Holiday Shores in 1988, from Dellwood, MO. She grew up in Hanley Hills, MO, and graduated from Lutheran High School in St. Louis, MO, in 1959. Pat worked at Mark Twain Bank in Plaza Frontenac as a financial advisor for 15 plus years.

Pat liked going to the theater, being an usher at the Fabulous Fox and an avid Muny goer. At Hitz, she was always down for a game of Bingo and was a member of the Hitz Bell Ringers. Her greatest joy in life was her family; loving to spend time with them during the holidays, birthday celebrations, and random get togethers.

Pat was a sweet, outgoing, and fun loving woman who always had a smile on her face. A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Pat will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
