    Patricia “Pat” Hendricks, 81, of Fairview Heights, IL, passed away on April 23, 2024, peacefully, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

    She was born May 11, 1942, in East St. Louis, IL to Walter and Mary (nee Grass) Christenson. On December 17, 1993, she married Raymond Hendricks in Nashville, TN.

    Pat had been a hard worker her entire life, she worked as an accountant, the property manager of a trailer park in Okawville, IL, and finally opened her own bar in Caseyville, IL. In her free time Pat enjoyed cooking for her family, bringing them together for special events and holidays. She adored her dogs, JoJo, and Sammy Jo. Above all else, pat loved her family dearly, she was a loving grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mary Grass; loving husband of 23 years, Raymond Hendricks; son, Allen Ray (Mary Lou Barnett) Showmaker; sister, Dorothy (Albert) Slack; brother, Richard Christenson.

    Pat is survived by her grandchildren, Rachael Showmaker, Daniel (Kelley Huonker) Showmaker; great-grandchildren, Bradley Showmaker, Anthony Showmaker; cousins & many loving friends.

    Visitation: Thursday, May 2, 2024, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.

    Memorial Service: Thursday, May 2, 2024, 12:00 PM, Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.

    Interment: Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
