Nathaniel M. Nunn, 76, of Lebanon, IL died Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Cedar Ridge Health Care Center, Lebanon, IL.
Nathaniel was born December 25, 1934 in St. Louis, MO to Jasper and Bessie (nee Harris) Nunn. On October 27, 1956 he married Delores Hall in E. St. Louis, IL.
When Nathaniel was a young man he was a partner in a Salvage business with his father and brothers. Then he worked as a laborer for Local 670, O’Fallon, IL, until his retirement in the late 1990’s. His hobbies included fishing, working on cars, and carpentry. He was a very strong provider for his family.
He is survived by, his wife, Delores Nunn, Lebanon; two daughters, Adrienne Nunn, Lebanon, Juanita Nunn, O’Fallon; five grandchildren, Whitney Nunn, Cierra Dickerson, Riviera Howell, Auhston Elleby, Maya Thigpen; three great grandchildren, Janilah Nunn, Mariah Nunn, Payton Nunn; five brothers, Jasper J. (Barbara) Nunn Jr., Harry (Betty) Nunn, Sr., Fred (Mary) Nunn, Sr., Stanley (Cynthia) Nunn, Terry (Agnes) Nunn; two sisters, Margaret Mandley, Sheralyn O. Colvin; several nieces and nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Bessie Nunn, Jr.; two brothers, McKinley and Alexander Nunn; four sisters, Juanita Nunn, Julia D. Phillips, Earnestine Nunn, Phillis J. Smith.
