On May 13, 2021, Nancy Jane Craft, 77, departed this earth to spend eternity in heaven. Nancy was born on January 11, 1944 to Charles and Ann Wiseman, of Bellmont, Illinois. She married her high school sweetheart, Roger Craft on April 18, 1961.

They lived in many places over the years but eventually settled into Sikeston, Missouri as home. There they owned and operated a teacher supply store, Craftmasters Kidsmart, for 22 years. They shared three daughters and a son together. They spent many happy years together, working and traveling, until Roger's passing in 2009.

Nancy was a Christian with a deep love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, speaking of His goodness and her faith in Him even in her final hours on this earth. Her hobbies were many, but she especially enjoyed sewing and crocheting as well as buying and creating gifts for those she loved. Of her many attributes, her generosity and loving kindness were at the top of the list. er

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Jim Wiseman. She leaves behind four children: Donna Bragg of Olney, IL; Denise Dongu (Brien) of Albion, IL;  Roger Craft of Albion, IL; and Deborah Morrow (Robert) of Louisville, KY; Eight grandchildren: Jessica Huffman, Heidi Hawkins, Heather Longbons, Nick Bragg, Gavyn Williams, Jonathan Bragg, Miranda Williams and Kha'Liyah Smith; Eleven great-grandchildren: Phoenix, Niyah, Wyatt, Alena, Elijah, Asher, Elyse, Violet, Alexis, Evany and Sawyer; two sisters, Liz Wirth and Joanne Mushrush; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Wiseman and Barb (Ray) Flunker; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

In loving memory of our sister in Christ and a dear friend. We enjoyed our many years of worship together at Concordia Lutheran Church in Sikeston and the fun we had in the choir when I was the director.
God’s love and peace to you, her children. I remember Roger and Debbie more than the rest but our loving thoughts to all.

    3. The Wollenburg Family / May 15, 2021 at 8:55 pm

The Wollenburgs have many memories of Nancy. She had a variety of interests and could relate to many. Her laughs were deep and contagious.
I worked with her for 9 years and she was a friend more than a boss as well as a Christian sister at Concordia Lutheran. We shared many laughs. John enjoyed talking Star Wars and Star Trek with her, maybe comic book characters, too, as well as seeing the intriguing and unique items she had in the store. Stephanie enjoyed her as well and especially shopping at KidSmart when she was Aftercare Director for a Columbia school.
As her pastor for several years, Pastor Alan enjoyed serving her God’s Word and His body and blood in Holy Communion. We enjoyed being in worship and Bible study together and how beautifully she sang “0 Holy Night” at some Christmas Eve services. We look forward to seeing her again in Heaven.
