Myrtle C. Zweck, nee Daudermann, 96, of Alhambra, IL, formerly of Pocahontas, IL died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Hitz Home in Alhambra, IL. She was born July 13, 1914 in Alhambra, IL to Jacob P. and Emma C. (nee Daudermann) Daudermann. She married Orville Zweck October 28, 1936 in Alhambra, IL.
Myrtle was a homemaker and also worked at Basler Electric in Highland, IL for 26 years. She was a member of St. Paul UCC, Jamestown, IL; Womens' Guild of the Church; Royal Neighbors of America, and Eastern Star Marigold Chapter.
SURVIVORS: 2 Sons, Olin (Betty) Zweck, New Douglas, IL; Onis (Carol) Zweck, Highland, IL; 4 Grandchildren, Robin (William) Rolf, Glenview, IL; Nancy Zweck, New Douglas, IL; Charles Zweck, Decatur, IL; John Zweck, Highland, IL; 3 Great Grandchildren, Lindsey, Michelle, & Jessica Rolf, Glenview, IL.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Husband, Parents, 1 Brother, Melvin J. Daudermann, and 1 Sister, Nora M. Mindrup.
VISITATION: Tuesday, July 20, 2010 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, July 21st from 8:00 am to 11:00 a.m. at the Meridith Funeral Home in Pocahontas, IL.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Meridith Funeral Home, Pocahontas, IL with Rev. Don Propeck, Pastor, St. Paul UCC, Jamestown, IL and burial in Robinson Cemetery, Pocahontas, IL.
