To Tom, Ken and Rick: You boys probably don’t remember me or maybe vaguely remember, but my name is Connie Slover Robertson. I lived at 103 Hillcrest Dr. with my parents, Eber and Opal Slover. This was in the late 50’s, 60’s and early 70’s.

I remember your Mom and Dad well. Seems like your Dad was gone a lot. I remember your Mom working outside in the yard…she always kept busy. And their little black dog…Tex or was it Rex? I loved my childhood days and growing up on Hillcrest Drive!

Anyway, I just wanted to express my most sincere sympathies in the loss of your Mom. She lived a very full life and I’m sure, is rejoicing in her reunion with your Dad.

Rick and Tom my prayers are with you. I just saw this on Saturday evening, your Mom was probably the best friend my Mom ever had and she was like a second Mom to me when we lived in Albion. She was a wonderful lady and will be greatly missed.
