Michael R. Potochney, 37, of Pocahontas, IL, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at his home in Pocahontas, IL.
He was born on July 14, 1985, in Belleville, IL, to Bernard and Linda (nee LeRoy) Potochney. On January 14, 2017, he married Chelsey Brown at the First Christian Church in Greenville, IL.
Michael loved the outdoors, always at peace by the water with his fishing pole in hand. He loved to barbeque and was a great cook. Michael was outgoing, bubbly, energetic, and loving. His kids and family meant the world to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Linda Potochney.
Michael is survived by his wife, Chelsey Brown, Pocahontas, IL; beloved children, Calli Potochney, Columbia, IL, Chloe Brown, Pocahontas, IL, Haven Potochney, Pocahontas, IL, Hailey Potochney, Pocahontas, IL, Mika Potochney, Pocahontas, IL; siblings, Shawna (David) Lindley, Collinsville, IL, Bernard “Bernie” Potochney, Pocahontas, IL, Angela “Angie” Potochney, Marine, IL; grandparents, Linda and Jim LeRoy, Fairview Heights, IL; and many dear nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation: Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, at Meridith Funeral Home, Pocahontas, IL.
