Matthew M. Laws

Matthew Mace Laws went home to his Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, at his home with loved ones by his side on December 13, 2020.

Matt was born on December 14, 1967, in St. Louis, Missouri to Paul and Doris Laws.

Matt owned his own business, Signature Painting, and was a member of Faith Family Church. He enjoyed spending time with family, deer and duck hunting, and his dog, Cash. The family rejoices in knowing that they will see Matt’s smiling face again when they join him in heaven.

He is survived by his loving wife, Michele Laws; sons, Cole and Cody; daughter, Sophie; siblings, Rusty (Debbie), Michael (Lisa), Marty, Mona, Angel (Greg) and multiple nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Laws and Doris (Linn)Wray; grandparents, “Pop” and Nadine Laws and Clyde and Ruby Laird; brothers, Mark “Dimond” Laws, and Norman “Butch” Cottrell.

A visitation for close family and friends will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Heights Community Church in Collinsville.

A celebration service will take place immediately following the visitation at church. Interment will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston, MO.

Donations can be sent to Living Hope Church Plant, In Touch Ministries (Charles Stanley) in Matt’s memory.
