Cousin Margie was a bright light of love shining in my life. I was always reassured by her prayerful support. She helped me stay connected with my mother Catherine Zimmermann’s side of the family. I have deep love and respect for Margie’s parents, Uncle Clete and Aunt Gene with fond memories visiting their home in Highland as I was growing up. I’m so thankful to the greater Capelle clan for the deep family connections they continue to foster. I send prayers of peace and comfort to all of you.

First and foremost I want to express my condolences to the Capelle family! I have many wonderful memories at their home! Her daughter Jeanne was one of my best friends! I remember many sleep overs and group slumber parties at their home! I remember being at the horse stable one and witnessing a birth of one of a new foal! I literally passed out watching the event!! lol Later in years when I was visiting I would take my parents to early morning mass and run into Margie! It was always good to see her and give her a big hug!! This past November I received a surprise call from Margie! She said she was calling all the people who were important in her life. She had gotten my number from my brother John. I was soo touched because she was a very special lady to me as well! We talked a long time and caught up on each others family! I was sure hoping to visit her on my next visit to Highland but health issues are preventing me to drive a distance for awhile! I will always treasure the wonderful memories of Margie and the place I considered my second home!

I was blessed to know this amazing woman for nearly 25 years. I met her through Bradford National Bank and she always helped me with our advertising. But it went much farther than that. She was always asking about my family and always had kind words to say. Even in retirement, she would call to catch up, with her most recent call coming some months ago.

I was saddened that I did not know of her passing, so missed by the visitation and the funeral.

I want her family to know that she had such a positive impact on my life. A lovely, beautiful woman with a heart of gold. A true servant of Christ. While I’m saddened by her passing, I’m happy to know that she is finally home with her Lord and Savior.
