    Marjorie Ann “Margie” (nee Hilderbrand) Missey, 75, of O’Fallon, IL, died Saturday, February 23, 2019, at Cedar Ridge Health and Rehab Center, Lebanon, IL.

    Margie was born May 10, 1943, to Roy and Ann (nee ReKart) Hilderbrand in Litchfield, IL.

    She attended O’Fallon Baptist Church in O’Fallon, IL. Margie was a homemaker; taking care of her seven children.  Her children were her life, and then her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She loved to crochet, knit and shop.  She enjoyed waitressing in her later years. She always found the good in everyone.

    She is survived by her children, Taffy Bequette, Summerfield, IL, Sean (Tracy) Kennedy, Gulfport, FL, Tracy (significant other Otis Burns) Denton, Lebanon, IL, Dawn (Dennis) Conrad, Fairview Heights, IL, Roy (Mary) Missey, Paducah, KY; 17 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sister, Kathleen (Jack) Gardner, Bowling Green, KY; brother, Roy Hilderbrand, Gillespie, IL; nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Ann Hilderbrand; husband, Jerry Missey; daughters, Sandra Acton and Ruth Ann Brand; grandson, Corey Dale Brand.

    Visitation: Tuesday, February 26, 2019, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, at Meridith Funeral Home, Lebanon, IL.

    Funeral Service: Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at 12:00 noon, at Meridith Funeral Home, Lebanon, IL

    Clergy: Rev. Skip Leininger, Pastor, First Baptist Church, O’Fallon, IL.

    Interment: College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, IL.

    My dear family. So sorry about my cousin Margie. I know I haven’t seen her for quite some time, but I know she loved her family. She is now with aunty ann and uncle roy and her children.     Thank you everyone for your condolences and kind words about my mommy. She was an amazing woman that raised 7 kids by her self. She always made sure we had everything we wanted and needed. She is smiling now because she is with her parents, her 2 daughters, and her grandson. She is at peace now. She will forever be in my heart, I will miss her everyday,second,and minute.I love you mommy always and forever.. Love your baby girl Dawn

    I worked with Margie at the Trenton House. What a wonderful woman she was. Such a proud mother and grandmother. I am so sorry to hear that she passed. Many prayers!!
