    Marcella M. Runyon, 88, of Lebanon, IL, died Saturday, January 23, 2021, at her home.

    She was born, December 6, 1932 to Emma Miller in Potosi, MO.  On January 14, 1950, she married Frank Runyon Sr. in St. Louis, MO.

    Marcella was a professional seamstress; being a member of the International Lady’s Garment Union Workers.  She was a member of Westgate Baptist Church Women’s Club and the Baptist Women’s Association.  She also volunteered for missionary work at Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in Pine Ridge, SD.  She worked as the secretary for Calvary Baptist Church in Lebanon for many years.

    She raised seven beautiful children and truly enjoyed spending time with her family.  Marcella was an avid quilter, while also enjoying crocheting, gardening, planting flowers, reading, putting together jigsaw puzzles, and playing cards.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Al and Emma Bekue; husband, Frank Runyon Sr.; daughter, Pat Pendegraft; grandson, JR Smith; sisters, Shirley Ramsey, Norma Runyon, Linda Fozzard, Mary Runyon; brother Glenn Bekue.

    Marcella is survived by her children, Frank (Debbie) Runyon Jr., Lebanon, IL, Karen (James) Freant, Wentzville, MO, Sharon (Bill) Crocker, Elsberry, MO, Betty Jo Smith, Lebanon, IL, Donna Mooney, Lebanon, IL, Richard Runyon, Lebanon, IL; 18 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; eight great great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and grandma’s furry protector, Lilly.

    Graveside Service: Wednesday, January 27, 2021, 10:00 am, College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, Illinois.

    I will always remember Marcella, as she was such a wonderful person. She was a second mom to me in my High School days. She will be missed by many, I am sure. My Condolences to all of this family❤️
