    Lynda Rea Hedrick, 84, of Albion, IL passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Carmel, IL.  She was born April 9, 1938, in Olney, IL to Arthur and Clara Marie (Pierce) Harris. Lynda married Clyde Hedrick February 1, 1964, at West Village Christian Church, Albion, IL

    She was a member of the West Village Christian Church. Lynda loved music, family birthdays and holidays and her church family.  She was a Gideon Auxiliary member.

    Lynda is survived by her husband, Clyde Hedrick, daughter, Heather (Tim) Durnin, son, Hugh Hedrick, sister Emaleen (Sam) Collins, sister and brother in-laws, Elaine Harris, Anna Sue Johnson, Lloyd (Pat) Hedrick, several nieces, and nephews.

    She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Clara Marie Harris, and brother Leon Harris.

    Memorials may be made to Gideons International or West Village Cemetery.

    Visitation:   10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Tuesday January 10, 2023, West Village Christian Church, Albion, IL.

    Funeral Service:   11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2023, West Village Christian Church, Albion, IL.

    Interment: West Village Christian Church Cemetery, Albion, IL.

    Ingram Meridith Funeral Home, Albion, IL.

    Uncle Clyde our love and prayers go out to you as you mourn the loss of your beautiful loss of your wife Aunt Lynda may God hold you in his loving arms as he guides you through this most difficult situation we are sending prayers and condolences to you Heather and Hugh peace be with y our.     Sorry to see this, but. Peace. Is assured because she loved and was loved. Lynda was a friend who was constant and though I did not see her often we could always just take up where we left off at parting. Sympathy to Clyde and to all who loved her.

    Clyde I’m so sorry to hear of Lynda’s passing. We sang in a sextet together in high school and enjoyed seeing each other at our class reunions. You are in my prayers. We know that she’s at peace now. God bless you for your loving care for her for such a long time.

    Clyde, I am so sorry to learn of your loss. I always thought Lynda was filled with such kindness. She was a sweet soul and was loved by so many. My prayers are with you.
