    Lucille Mary Howard, 97, of Union, MO entered into rest on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at her residence.

    Lucille was born December 7, 1923 in Fisk, MO, to Floyd Jacob and Effie Marie (nee Parkin) Thompson.  She married Clarence Howard, June 7, 1941.

    She loved to crochet, garden, cook, and spend time with her family.

    Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Effie Thompson; husband, Clarence Howard; sons, Douglas Edward Howard, Larry Michael Howard; granddaughter, Tania Lynn Howard; sisters, Viola McCain, Jean Baker, Dorothy Gilmore, Virginia McIntosh, Glodeen Ritter; brother, Floyd Thompson.

    She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Jerry) Masters; daughter-in-law, Sherry Beard Howard; six granddaughters, Yolanda, Nena, Sherri, Heather, Debbie, Dione; 26 great-grandchildren and 29 great great-grandchildren.

    Visitation:  Saturday, September 25, 2021, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, at New Rivers Assembly of God Church, Maryville, IL.

    Service:  Saturday, September 25, 2021, 1:00pm, New Rivers Assembly of God Church, Maryville, IL.

    Clergy:  Pastor, Kevin Wilson

    Interment:  St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, IL.

    Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.
