    Louise B. Lovellette, 97, of Bone Gap, IL, passed from this life to the next on February 20, 2019 at her home.

    She was born February 9, 1922 in Glezen, IN to Lovie Ann (Masters) and Estell Claude Engler.

     Louise was a self-employed house painter. She enjoyed painting, taking care of her family, dancing, and music. She taught Sunday School at Bone Gap Christian Church for almost 40 years.

     She is survived by four daughters: JoAnne (Ray) Reid-Krohn of Albion, IL, Anita (Herman) Mosley of Bone Gap, Karen (Steve) Wilson of Griffin, IN, and Lisa (Jerry) Porter of Carbondale, IL; one son, Duane (Mickie) Smith of Evansville, IN; and 32 grandchildren, 80 great-grandchildren, and 24 great-great-grandchildren.

     Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her son Robert Royce Dossett, one granddaughter, five brothers, and one sister.

     Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Ingram-Meridith Funeral Home in Albion. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends are asked to meet at Atkinson Chapel Cemetery near Oatsville, IN at 3 p.m. for burial.

    Joanne…..so sorry for the loss of your mother. I remember watching her dance at the Bone Gap Opry and you could tell she was really enjoying herself. Prayers for strength and comfort during your grief. Love you !!

    Louise was a special and very dear friend in Christ. We prayed often together–over the phone when we could not be together. We held a unique bond in that we were Birthday Buddies–February 9.. This world and everyone she loved miss her, but the angels sang when she arrived to her heavenly home.
