      Lloyd “Bucky” Conner Jr., 55, of McLeansboro passed away on Thursday December 21st, 2023 at the Linda White Hospice facility Evansville, Indiana.

      He was born on January 26th, 1968 in Carlinville, IL to Lloyd L Conner and Martina (Mayhue) Hogge.

      Lloyd had worked in the auto body repair industry for 15 years. He was a member of the House of Prayer church in Albion, he was a loving father, and always had a smile on his face.

      He is preceded in death by his father Lloyd Conner and grandparents.

      Lloyd is survived by his mother Martina Hogge, his daughter Tayler (Daniel) York, 2 sisters; Julie (James) Santos and Marcie (Chris) Wagner, and 2 fur babies; Shadow and Lucy.

      A memorial service will be held at the House of Prayer in Albion on Thursday December 28th, 2023 from 6-8 p.m.

      Ingram Meridith Funeral Home of Albion, IL is assisting the family with arrangements.

      Bucky was a great guy and always had sarcastic comments (but loving) about our Cowboys! Lol He will be missed! So many childhood memories of him and all of you! Sending prayers and my condolences as you say goodbye! Hugs to all of you!

      Bucky was such an inspiration and I looked forward to seeing him on Facebook. He always made me laugh and brightened my day. God has something special for Bucky! I will miss you.

      Bucky was an inspiration to everyone. Always ready with a laugh or story. He always made you feel better and he had a strong faith. Everyone’s friend.

      He was my classmate and friend and lived to harass me about my Cowboys!! He was a sweet soul..but most of all he loved the Lord..Heaven gained a good one!!
