Lisa Marie Suydam (nee Schmitt), 51, of Lebanon, IL, died Thursday, March 10, 2011, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Belleville, IL.
She was born January 15, 1960, to Bob and Merhlene (nee Myers) Schmitt at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Belleville, IL. On August 5, 1977, she married Keith E. Suydam, at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Lebanon, IL.
Lisa Marie was in the National Honor Society while attending Lebanon High School, and graduated in 3 years. She was a 911 dispatcher for the City of Lebanon for 13 years. She was a past member of Lebanon Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was a loving daughter, wife and mother.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Suydam, Lebanon, IL; her parents, Bob and Merhlene Schmitt, Lebanon, IL; 4 children, Amy Suydam, Lebanon, IL, Brandi (boyfriend Jeremy Missey) Suydam, Lebanon, IL, Kyle Suydam, Lebanon, IL, Ryan (girlfriend Kelly Voegele) Suydam, Lebanon, IL; Rusty, the granddog; 2 brothers, Joseph (Pepper) Schmitt, Bobby (Cheri) Schmitt; nieces and nephews, Nathan, Tyson, Haley, Joey, Taylor, Mallory, Gregg, Tiffany and Curtis; many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her Grandparents, Joseph and Anna Schmitt, Homer and Katherine Myers; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, George R. and Elizabeth Suydam; 1 nephew, Jason Joseph Schmitt, in infancy.
Visitation: Sunday, March 13, 2011 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday, March 14, 2011, 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. at Meyer Funeral Home, Lebanon, IL.
Mass of Christian Burial: Monday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Lebanon, IL.
