    LINDA LOIS JOHNSON,  74, of Johnsonville, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020, at her home with her family by her side.

    Linda was born on October 8, 1946, at Akron, Ohio, to Hobart V. and Lois (Peddicord) Weaver.  She married Johnie Johnson on May 30, 1964, at the Bailey Church, in Wayne City, Illinois.

    Linda worked at Sparton in Flora for over 24 years and then worked at Hella Electronics for over 22 years, before retirement.  She was a member of the Round Prairie General Baptist Church near Johnsonville, Illinois.  In 2014, she started a campaign to raise money for the Union Grove Church Camp, for renovations to the buildings.  The camp was a place near and dear to her heart.

    Linda is survived by her husband Johnie Johnson of Johnsonville, Illinois, her mother-in-law Lorene Johnson of Cisne, Illinois, one son Jeff (Jill) Johnson of Cisne, Illinois, one daughter Lora (Kent) Harrison of Rinard, Illinois, four grandchildren Whitney (Josh) Atwood of Mr. Erie, Illinois, Seth Harrison of Rinard, Illinois, Shelby (Mitchell) Coyler of Burnt Prairie, Illinois, and Malorie Harrison of Cisne, Illinois and four great grandchildren Isaac, Lydia and Sarah Atwood and Lex Coyler.  Linda is also survived by five sisters Louise Lowery of Granger, Indiana, Marsha (David) Powless of Michigan City, Indiana, Sherrel (Clarence) Cooper of Cisne, Illinois, Norma (Steve) Pearce of Crossville, Illinois, Loretta Bundy of Salem, Illinois, two brothers Larry (Marcella) Weaver of Cisne, Illinois and Allen (Doris) Weaver of Johnsonville, Illinois, and a brother-in-law Larry Solomon of Cerro Gordo, Illinois.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

    Preceding her in death were here parents and one sister Janet Solomon.

    Funeral services will be held at Round Prairie General Baptist Church near Johnsonville, Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 10am.  Burial will follow in Round Prairie Cemetery.   Visitation will be held at Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home Tuesday, October 13, 2020, from 4 to 7pm.

    I am so sorry for your family’s loss. I worked with Linda at Hella and we also have a sister-law (Doris) in common. She was one of the sweetest lady’s and a joy to work with, she always had a smile on her face no matter what was happening. My prayers are with you.

    I was so sorry to see that your Loved One Linda and my Dear Cousin has passed away. I must tell you who I am my name is Marilyn (Shehorn) Tarbutton the daughter of Lawrence Shehorn. I am living out in California and have been gone from Illinois 60 years but I still remember my cousins and family that I still have back in Illinois. May God bless each one of you and give you peace and comfort while you are grieving. We know that she has been called home to a better place and we will look forward to seeing her again in the next life. I know that all of you will miss her but remember the good times that you had together over all the years that you had her. I can remember going to the Weaver house to spent a night several times and I loved all of my cousins. With my Deepest Sympathy, Cousin Marilyn
