    Linda Lee Evans Pollard, 77, of Albion, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at River Oaks in Princeton, Indiana.

    She was born August 24, 1947 in Olney, Illinois to Virgil “Bud” and Ava (Rigg) Evans.

    Linda was a member of the Bone Gap Christian Church. She enjoyed Artistry – she loved drawing, painting, and crafts. She was a talented cake decorator. She loved the outdoors, enjoying flowers and was a true animal lover. Linda had a contagious laugh and never met a stranger. Her favorite activity was spending time with family and friends.

    She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Evans; her father, Bud Evans; her mother, Ava Evans; and her husband, David Garrett.

    She is survived by her children – daughters Michele (Reel) Allen (Jerry); Melinda (Reel) Gill (David) and son Ricky Pollard. Eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive, as well as brothers Tom Evans and Doug Evans.

    Visitation for Linda Lee Evans Pollard will be held on Monday February 17, 2025 at Ingram Meridith Funeral Home in Albion, Illinois. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with funeral services at noon.

    In lieu of flowers, memorials in the name of Linda Evans Pollard may be made to PJ Parkinson’s Support, an organization dedicated to providing practical and emotional support for people with Parkinson’s disease and their care partners. Linda’s daughter, Melinda Gill, is an active member in this organization and participates in their yearly 5k.
