    LILLIE FERRY, 67, of Mt. Erie, Illinois passed away Monday, December 2, 2019 at her home.

    Lillie was born September 14, 1952 to Clyde “Marion” and Lula Jane (Henson) Young. She married John Ferry and he preceded her in death in 2008.

    Lillie was an Elder Care Nurse having served as Director in the Geriatric Unit at Riverside Hospital in Kankakee, Illinois and a Director of Nursing at Pacific Care Center in Pacific, Missouri. She also worked at Olney Care Center.

    Lillie attended Mt. Erie Nazarene Church, Mt. Erie, Illinois and Victory General Baptist Church in Fairfield, Illinois. She enjoyed antiquing, fishing, and mission work. Lillie was a very thoughtful person.

    Lillie is survived by two daughters Sarah (Wesley) Hedrick of Mt. Erie, Illinois and Melinda (Brian) Stout of San Ramon, California; one son Tim (Davina) Massie of Grayville, Illinois; three sisters Mary Lou (Ted) Harre of Webb City, Missouri, Debra (Steve) Foster of Riverton, Illinois, and Barbara (Bret) Marshel of Fairfield, Illinois; four brothers Clyde (Loretta) Young of Dover, Arkansas, Arnold Young of Dickerson, North Dakota, Richard (Kathy) Young of Cisne, Illinois and Michael Loy (Jo Ann) Young of Mt. Erie, Illinois. Eleven grandchildren also survive.

    Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, husband John Ferry, a brother Donnie Ray Young, a niece Megan Young, and a great niece Rebecca Ann Hagnauer.

    Funeral service will be 12 pm Friday, December 6, 2019 at Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, 10 am – 12 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Travers Cemetery near Mt. Erie.

    Memorials in memory of Lillie may be given to Mt. Erie Nazarene Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
